For treatment of rosacea, sunscreens which protect against both Skincell Pro UV-A and UV-B are highly recommended. The best sunscreens for patients with rosacea are those which contain protective silicone compounds such as dimethicone and/or cyclomethicone. Most patients with rosacea prefer green tinted sunscreens because they are efficient in camouflaging redness (erythema) of the face.
Nonablative laser is one of the most effective lines of treatment for rosacea. It acts through remodeling of the connective tissue of the skin; thus, improving the skin barrier.
