You probably sometimes wonder how you got to
Uncompromised Life Review being who you are and doing what you are currently doing. If you were to write your autobiography you would be able to trace some of the roots. Your parents chose your school and possibly your career. Significant other people such as teachers and friends influenced you along the way.
Some of them told you what to do and for respect of them you took their advice. Throughout your story you will rarely have stood up for yourself if you are not now being who you want to be and doing what you want to do. It is short term easy and long term painful to just do as you are told and follow the instructions set out for you. The pain of standing up for yourself seems to much to take on. Until you do take this on, and by the way it is often not as painful as you think, you will keep living the life others want you to live.
Get clear about what you want to do and who you want to be. These are tough questions and need to be taken head on. Forget the obstacles for a moment and just get clarity of what you want. Look at any obstacle now and weigh up the cost of confronting that obstacle versus the benefit of getting what you want. If you are really clear about what you want and you really do want it the cost of confronting the obstacle will be very small versus the long term benefit of being and doing what you want.
