This is a particular blog post we wanted to share with you for a long time. Many of us Play free
solitaire online daily. But how many of us know about the official termed used in it. For example, do
you know the meaning of Fanned to waste? The general purpose could be anything, but what does it
mean in the game. This is why, in today’s blog, we will tell you about it. Now, let’s get started.
Terms used in Solitaire

So, the first term is related to called deals, which are called Deal Terms. It is called Cascade When
the cards are assembled on one another. From the bottom to the top. You could only play the top
card. You will find it in the other version of solitaire as well.

Now we will tell you about the layout terms. The layout means how cards are stacked up to play the
game. If you have played the different versions of the game, you would surely know about it.

The first term in the layout is called Squared. When the cards are piles on top of cards. The second is
called Fanned. When you can see the details of the cards, Fanning could be done to up, down, left or
right. It is one of the most common terms used in Free Online Solitaire games. Now the third term is
called ‘Stock.’ In some places, it is called ‘Talon’ as well. So, when the cards are faced down but could
be used one by one. In some types of solitaire, a player could turn up two or three cards.

Now, the fourth term is called waste. Other names of these terms are Waste Pile, discard, heap, and
debris. This is the area where the cards from the stock move to waste.
