So, a lot of you will remember, I always struggled with my road. Dust, sap, all sorts. I didn't have a garage and couldn't get on with a car cover.

So, after a LOT of searching, I found the perfect solution.

Essentially, a "non-contact, retractable garage to keep the car dry, dust free and have zero contact with the paintwork. It's one of a kind (the prototype from a failed company.)

So, here is it is in it's prime

Since these pics were taken, I have taken it down. It cost me £500 2 years ago and I spent a few quid building a cable system to aid retraction, but it is very much a "project" when it comes to me selling it.

The canopy is in great condition with just two very small holes. The wheels and mechanism all work perfectly.
The "track" IS damaged, but not essential to operation.

I'm looking to sell for £100. you'll need a van to collect it and be handy with DIY
to put it together.

BUT, if you have the space and a car you wish to protect, it's fricking awesome!!

You can make a garage tent or a canopy out of tarpaulin. A convenient thing.

I hate the dust from the street that falls on my clean car.

Nice garage. You can build one of these things anywhere, in any country, in any weather. I understand that it doesn't let the rain in. But I wonder if such a retractable garage lets in the cold or heat? It's a huge black garage that gets a lot of heat in the sun. My cantilever carport doesn't get as hot because it's translucent, made of dark plastic that doesn't melt from the heat. I even thought about installing solar panels to power all my street lighting. My neighborhood has frequent thefts, so my wife insisted on mandatory nighttime back and front yard lighting. We also have street surveillance cameras in case of break and enter. Your garage can be opened by anyone. Aren't you afraid of that?
