According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the explosions rocked the city's Shevchenkivskyi district.
Ambulance crews and rescuers are already on the spot, residents of two apartment blocks were currently being rescued and evacuated.
The rocket hit the roof of a 9-storey residential building in Lukyanovka district and demolished several upper floors. This was announced by the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko. Rescuers fight the fire. The scene of the tragedy cordoned off by the police.

The bombers took off from Astrakhan. The missiles were launched over the Caspian Sea, – said Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
