How do you find the right estate agent to sell your home?

Test agents out by calling and see if they pick up the phone or if it goes to voicemail, the worst thing you want as a seller is someone to call and your agent isn’t pick up the phone. A lot of times the newer agents have more drive to sell your home and will be doing more open houses vs the vets that don’t have the time to specifically help sell your home.

A good way to screen agents is to first ask your friends who they used. It’s likely that your friends are “Like you” so if they connected with someone then there’s a good chance that you will too. I would also check references and testimonials. I did the same when needed to sell my house in Edmonton. This will help you decide who you’re going to invite into your home.
