Man City ready to match Tottenham transfer demand for Harry Kane with 'deal imminent'[/b]

Manchester City could be closing in on the biggest transfer in Premier League history.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane's move to Manchester City could be 'imminent' with the Premier League champions ready to match his £150million valuation, according to Sky Sports. Daniel Levy could bow down to Man City's financial power if the club meet his hefty transfer demands this month.
Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol believes Kane's record transfer to the Etihad Stadium is on the verge of completion.
He claims Man City are ready to increase their offer to £150m, reported elsewhere as Levy's valuation of the 28-year-old striker.
The Independent report that £150m would be enough to lure Levy to the negotiation table for Kane.

Miguel Delaney of the Independent states that sources have suggested £150m alone still won't be enough for Spurs to part ways with Kane.
However, it would open talks for his departure, talks that will undoubtedly push through to the latter stages of the transfer window.
Man City have already broken the British transfer record once this summer, acquiring Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish for £100m.
However, the Citizens missed a focal point down the middle in their 1-0 opening weekend Premier League defeat at Spurs on Sunday.
The performance and lack of a natural striker from the get-go will have only ignited Pep Guardiola's burning desire for further financial backing.
If Kane were to join Man City in the final two weeks of the summer window, it would break the British transfer record again.
In fact, it wouldn't break it, but it would absolutely smash it given a fee for the England captain could realistically rise to over £160m.
The £89m Manchester United paid Juventus for Paul Pogba in 2016 was the record going into the current window.
With Romelu Lukaku's £97.5m to Chelsea also going through this month, though, Kane's 'imminent' move to Manchester would surpass that for the third time.
On Wednesday, Kane didn't travel to Portugal with Spurs for their UEFA Europa Conference League Play-Off first leg.
Nuno's side face Pacos de Ferreira for a chance to qualify for the Europa Conference League proper in its debut season.
Kane could return to action in the second leg at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next week, if not against Wolves at the weekend.
